Welcome Back!

Well, here we are in the 2015-2016 school year.  It is always hard to say goodbye to summer. I know I had a blast playing all summer, but as most good things, it has also ended.  Now it is time to be a student and earn credit towards your graduation.  I hope you have thought a little about that day.  It isn't as far away as you think.  Be sure that you are committed to coming to school everyday and putting your best effort in.  You waste your time if you just sit in a seat all day long and learn nothing.

Now, I know I have a responsibility to teach you.  I take it pretty dang seriously, but I can't do it all for you.  You need to take the steps to make learning stick in your brain.  This involves paying attention in class, taking notes when needed, actively participating in discussion and activities, and doing your work being sure to use your brain to make every assignment you turn in be of great quality.

I know, school can be hard, but I guarantee you that not having an education will make your future life much more difficult than school ever can be.

I am here to help you with anything, so long as you are willing to put forth effort.  I won't just hand you a passing grade because you are nice and a great person.  You are both of those things, but grades are earned not given, my friend.

That said.  I am so excited to have you in this class for the next few months.  It will be awesome to get to know you.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to make your time here better.
